HenderCare is seeking a Home and Garden Maintenance worker to join our team to support our Aged Care & Disability clients in the community with their homes throughout in Bentleigh, Cheltenham, Brighton, Sandringham, Black Rock, Mordialloc, and Surrounding Suburbs.Work your shifts via AlayaCare AppShifts generally 8am-5pm Monday to Friday (no weekends)Weekly Pay (every Friday)Employee Benefits & Perks Program24-hour support line for field staffFREE Flu Vaccinations for all employeesEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)About the roleAs a casual Home and Garden Maintenance Worker, you will assist service recipients in keeping their homes safe and habitable by minimising environmental health and safety hazards.Services include gutter cleaning, window cleaning, fan cleaning, replacing light bulbs, installing batteries, replacing fixed shower heads with handheld systems, installing key safes, installing grab rails in toilet and shower recesses, minor home maintenance, pruning, lawn mowing, and weeding.About YouYou must:Have a reliable smartphone compatible with AlayaCare App for roster access (iOS 15+ or Android 9+)Be comfortable driving around areas and nearby areas in the description aboveOwn gardening and maintenance equipment and vehicleHave access to a UTE/Trailer to transport the equipment and toolsHave a current National Police CheckHave a current Working With Children Check (Employee Type)Have an unrestricted Australian Driver''s LicenseHave a passion and understanding for providing support to the elderly and people with a disabilityWelcome to HenderCareAt HenderCare, we pride ourselves on the high-quality care and support we offer to people living with a disability, people in the acute healthcare sector, children and young people, and our older Australians.
