About The Role (your Why) We are currently seeking an experienced Infrastructure Modernisation Consultant to join our highperformance Professional Services team. This is a customer facing consulting position that requires exceptional collaborative skills and the ability to build strong partnerships with our customers and within Datacom. The successful candidate will ideally have previous Professional Services experience with external customers and exposure to all aspects of delivering projects, including consulting, design, configuration, testing and deployment. Our offices are based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. Please note that to be successful in this role, you must be an Australian Citizen and must have a NV1 security clearance. What Youll Do In this key crossdisciplinary role you will work closely with our Customers, Partners, Sales and Technical teams. Ensure assigned IT infrastructurebased projects are delivered on time, within budget, to agreed scope. Serve as the technical point of contact for implementation services and solutions. This may either be provided remotely or onsite. Providing presales support and expertise to the sales team. We are a pretty agile company, and are keen to respond to customer, technology and internal stakeholders changing requirements and this can mean we evolve in our roles to meet those needs. What Youll Bring To be successful in this role you must have experience working with external enterprise customers in delivering projects in professional services environments. Must have experience with design, implementation and optimisation of: Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange. Virtualisation (VMWare, HyperV, AHV). You will have a curiosity & passion for customers and a proven ability to communicate solutions in a way that resonates with all levels of our customers. You must be comfortable in engaging both technical and nontechnical staff and stakeholders. You can work both independently on competing priorities and as part of a team. Youll have excellent written and verbal communication skills. In addition, it is desirable for applicants to be able to demonstrate design, implementation and optimisation experience in one or more of the following; Backup and recovery e.g. Commvault, Veeam Hyperconverged technologies e.g. Nutanix, Dell, Cisco Why Join Us Here at Datacom?
