Join APASs dynamic team in a key role as a Licenced Aircraft Engineer, playing a vital role in maintenance activities at our facility in Alice Springs. Key Responsibilities Aircraft Maintenance & Induction: Conduct in-depth narrow and wide-body aircraft induction, including engine/APU preservation. Manage periodic maintenance checks, ensuring all aircraft meet stringent quality standards. Oversee customer work requests, aircraft inspections, ADs, and ensure prompt responses. Aircraft Reactivation & Troubleshooting: Involve in complex component changes, engine runs, and troubleshooting. Utilise technical expertise to identify and rectify defects promptly. Work closely with a tight-knit team of professionals focused on delivering maintenance excellence. Engage directly with major airlines and leasing entities to provide exceptional customer support. Act as a liaison between APAS and international partners, representing our commitment to quality and service. Compliance & Innovation: Ensure full compliance with all relevant CASA, EASA, FAA, 2-REG, BCAA, and other NAA Part 145 maintenance approvals; stay abreast of latest industry innovations and incorporate them into APASs maintenance practices. Contribute to APASs ongoing growth and success in the Asia-Pacific region through continuous improvement and embracing new technologies. Requirements Applicants MUST have Part 66 Licenced Engineers (CASA/EASA/UKCAA) with B737, Dash8 or A330 Type Rating on licence. Strong technical knowledge of major aircraft types. Ability to demonstrate competence through a comprehensive work logbook. Strong IT capabilities to utilise APAS'' cuttingedge maintenance platform. Excellent team collaboration skills. Creative problemsolving and ability to handle pressure in a dynamic environment. Desirable Criteria: Experience on specified aircraft engines. Elevated work platform licence. Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC). A330, B737 NG, Dash8 (type ratings as preferred). Compensation Salary Range: $120,000 $150,000 + Superannuation (11%) + Overtime.
