RFQ OpportunityOur Government client requires two ServiceNow Developers to assist the ASK Assistance and Service Kiosk)/ServiceNow Technical Lead to develop and deliver platform solutions required for the 24/25 financial year workplan. This role is to provide platform support, solutions and advice across configuration, development and maintenance services for the Enterprises Service management and workflow automation platform, ASK.This role is based on-site in Canberra and is an initial 6 months contract to start in January 2025. It is an essential requirement that you hold an active NV1About YouResponsibilities and Accountabilities:Develop, configure, and customise the ServiceNow platform to best fit business requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirementsAssess platform requirements from business areas; explore/research/test ServiceNow out-of-the-box capability to exhaust ServiceNow existing application options before progressing with custom buildsWrite clean, efficient, and maintainable code when required (JavaScript)Code reviews and quality control checks to be undertaken as part of every project to guarantee maximum efficiency and productivityDevelop scoped applications, flows, scripts and other UI elements in relation to custom solutions and out-of-the-box enhancements in the ServiceNow platformProvide guidance and expertise in relation to platform growth and development, in close collaboration with the ServiceNow technical lead and development teamConduct ServiceNow solution demonstrations and/or presentations to agency business teams and other key stakeholdersDebugging and fixing technical problemsProducing and running test cases to guarantee software qualityDocumenting code and application functionality (ie: drafting Functional Design Specification documentation)Staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies in ServiceNow development ensures your successConduct knowledge transfer on administration and development within the Service Now platform within the teamRequirementsEssentialMinimum 3+ years'' experience in ServiceNow development essentialMinimum ServiceNow CSA (Certified Systems Administrator) essentialProficiency with ServiceNow development, such as scripting, workflows, and integrations.Proficiency and demonstrated experience with ServiceNow out-of-the-box application configuration, particularly SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management)Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall is desirable.Familiarity and/or training with IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) processes is desirableFamiliarity, experience and/or training with ServiceNow Procurement related applications and/or development of Procurement workflow is desirableProven problem-solving and analytical abilities, including the ability to develop innovative solutions and form sound judgments.Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.Ability to conduct ServiceNow solution demonstrations and/or presentations to agency business teams and other key stakeholdersCapability to work both independently and collaboratively.DesirableServiceNow CIS (Certified Implementation Specialist) or greater desirableExperience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall is desirable Familiarity and/or training with IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) processes is desirableFamiliarity, experience and/or training with ServiceNow Procurement related applications and/or development of Procurement workflow is desirableProficiency and demonstrated experience with ServiceNow out-of-the-box application configuration, particularly SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) is desirableWhy Fujitsu?We are an organization with a strong set of values and a history of respecting fairness and equality, whilst promoting diversity, equity and inclusion.
