In this service, your leadership isnt from behind a desk, its on the floor, in ratio, side by side with your team. This is a handson role where youll provide daily coaching, guidance, and practical support. Youll be a familiar, trusted face for families and children, while also being the steady presence that ensures everything runs smoothly. Think of yourself as the captain of the ship, steering the course, supporting your crew, and ensuring everyone arrives safely and smiling. Youll Be Responsible For Actively supporting and guiding your team during contact hours Building strong relationships with children, families and school leaders; overseeing all communication with families and the school Overseeing environment setup and ensuring engaging, inclusive programming Uplifting and training your team to build consistency and confidenceEmbedding routines and structures that create calm, predictable and positive experiences Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and quality DaytoDay Operations Overseeing all daytoday operations across Before, After and Vacation Care Supporting and coaching a structured leadership team Embedding strong routines, building systems and guiding culture Driving quality programming, compliance and family engagement Building exceptional relationships with children, families, school leaders and your team Resourcing and delivering a fun, inclusive, highquality experience for all children Youll Be Perfect for This Role If Youre A big kid at heart who thrives in a lively, fastpaced environment A natural leader and coach, who communicates confidently with kids, families and principals alike Experienced in OSHC or large early childhood settings, with strong management skills Skilled at behaviour guidance, routine building and staff development Calm, proactive and ready to take ownership of your service Passionate about creating meaningful and fun experiences for children every day What Youll Need A Diplomalevel (or higher) ACECQAapproved qualification (e.g. Teaching, Early Childhood, Youth Work check here) Current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain) First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification (or willingness to obtain) Minimum 2years experience in an OSHC or education leadership role The Perks Were approved for the ECEC Grant: Get an extra 10% with us!
