Director of Nursing Private Day Surgery | Brisbane Full-Time | Permanent | Flexible Hours Salary: $170,000 $190,000 + Super (dependent on experience) Lead. Innovate. Grow. We are exclusively recruiting for a Director of Nursing to join a standalone private day surgery in Brisbane. This is a rare opportunity to lead a highperforming team and make the role your own. About the Role As Director of Nursing, you will have full oversight of financial and operational performance, including: Managing P&L and monthly reporting to the CEO and Board Being part of the planning and execution of the Strategic Plan Leading an administration team and an experienced Theatre Manager Overseeing a team of 50 staff across fulltime, parttime, and casual positions Maintaining strong relationships with surgeons and VMOs Driving a positive, inclusive culture, including staff engagement and social events This is a fulltime permanent role, with flexible hours depending on surgical lists. What Were Looking For Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration Proven leadership experience in hospital or day surgery settings Strong business acumen and ability to manage budgets Experience in theatre and specialty training (highly regarded) Expertise in NSQHS standards and accreditation Ability to: Develop and mentor staff Navigate complex systems and manage risk Maintain compliance and governance Drive performance and lead strategic initiatives Be a culture champion and foster team engagement Why Join?
