Assistant Store Manager - Sydney Airport Brooki Bakehouse is a beloved bakery renowned for its delicious, handcrafted treats and warm, welcoming atmosphere. As we expand, we are looking for a new Store Manager to join our team and lead a busy Brooki store! Are you a natural leader with a passion for great food and exceptional customer service? Responsibilities Lead and inspire your team: Inspire and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve operational excellence. Drive sales and achieve targets: Implement strategies to maximise sales, manage inventory effectively and control costs. Ensure exceptional customer experiences: Foster a positive and welcoming environment for all customers, resolving any issues efficiently and with a smile. Maintain operational excellence: Oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, cleanliness, and presentation guidelines. Manage inventory and ordering: Accurately track inventory levels, place orders, and minimise waste. Manage POS system: Train your team to ensure efficient use of the point-of-sale system. Maintain a safe and compliant workplace: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. Be a brand ambassador: Embody the Brooki Bakehouse values and represent our brand with pride. Qualifications Proven experience in a retail or hospitality management role, preferably within the food industry. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop others. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. A passion for food and a genuine enthusiasm for the Brooki Bakehouse brand. Strong organisational and problemsolving skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively. Experience with inventory management, cash handling, and POS systems. A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
