About the job Project Manager (NV1 Defence)About The Role:The role will assist with project planning, governance, implementation and evaluation to achieve project outcomes and support the achievement of organisational objectives. An understanding of the One Defence Capability System is required as well as the ability to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to ensure project deliverables are metKey Responsibilities:Develop or update project documentation including, but not limited to Sustainment AgreementRisk and Issues Management PlanWorkforce PlanSupport to FIC and risk reduction activitiesSupport to Commercial activities, business case development, and Independent Assurance activitiesReview all project documents as requiredStrong communication and stakeholder management skills are needed to work with our Army Headquarters partners to ensure that project outcomes are achievedAbout You:Preparation of project documentation, briefs, correspondence and reports including submissions and documents for higher delegate and committee considerationWork collaboratively with other project team members and stakeholders, including below the line contractors and other Defence agenciesManage work tasks that align with the projects strategic objectives and communicate expected outcomesEngage, negotiate and sustain working relationships on complex issues to understand and influence the stakeholder requirements, including operational factorsCapable of taking the initiative for achieving outcomes, progressing work, reviewing team and project performance and focusing on identifying opportunities for continuous improvementBuild and sustain productive working relationships to enable effective transition of the project through the One Defence Capability SystemForecast, plan and manage a range of human and physical resourcesIf this sounds like you, we''d love to hear from you.Working in defence means being part of a team that values collaboration, problem-solving, and purpose-driven work.
