You will be assigned to one of our Villages on an 8:6 roster, FIFO from Perth.The RoleJOB DESCRIPTIONOur HSEQ Advisors are in our remote WA Villages to support and advise our hospitality operations teams in keeping our people and guests safe by managing risks, maintaining compliance, and finding ways to ensure adoption of safe working behaviours. You will be assigned to one of our Villages on an 8:6 roster, FIFO from Perth.The Ideal CandidateAs an HSEQ Advisor, you will be skilled at managing HSEQ standards. Playing a critical role in promoting a culture of safety and compliance, you will ensure that all stakeholderswhether managers, supervisors, or frontline workersare aligned with industry best practices and legal requirements.You Will Bring Safety To Life ByConducting site safety audits and risk assessmentsInvestigating incidents and implementing improvement actionsReviewing and conducting risk analysis for tasks and equipmentMaintaining site safety and management systemsGuiding teams to ensure compliance with legislation, company policies, and client WHS requirementsReporting for weekly/monthly HSEQ requirementsActing as the lead for all ICAM investigationsCollaborating with the Executive Chef and Food Safety Advisors to monitor Food Safety compliance and standards on siteParticipating in pre-start/toolbox meetings and mentoring team members to make great decisionsThe Experience And QualificationsCert IV in WHS (minimum), Cert IV Workplace Trainer and Assessor / Diploma in WHS (desirable)1+ year HSEQ experience (preferably within: Resources / Hospitality / Defence / Emergency Services / Facilities Management)Valid manual drivers license (WA issued)Pass pre-employment medical testingProven ability to meet above tasks, such as:Effectively conduct and supervise Site Safety Audits and inspectionsReview and conduct Risk Assessments for tasks/equipmentComplete Incident Investigation and Improvement ActionsProfessionally communicate with a diverse range of teamsAccurately compile and report statistical informationMaintain Site Safety and Management systemsThe BenefitsLifestyle friendly rostering (8 days on and 6 days off, flying from Perth WA)Industry pay rate + 11% Superannuation (plus saved bills whilst you live/work away from home)Operations managers and support teams (who answer when you call)A growing company where your contributions make a differenceExcellent company/site culture and amazing growth/development opportunitiesGenerous discounts across hundreds of retailers with Civeo HiveThe Application ProcessReceive an invitation and complete a 5-10 minute video introduction via MyInterviewParticipate in a phone discussion with Recruitment and Safety Leadership teamsComplete Civeo paperwork and provide relevant documents, including an Australian Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)Pass a Pre-Employment Medical + Drug screeningSatisfy all Site and Civeo inductions (online and face to face)Fly to Site and continue your passion of Health and SafetySatisfy all Site and Civeo inductions (online and face to face)The CompanyCiveo Australia, a division of Civeo Corporation, provides workforce accommodation services globally.
