About the Role We are looking for experienced Pathology Collectors to service Atherton and surrounding areas. Parttime and Casual positions available. Your primary duties will be to take blood and other specimens from patients, including performing ECGs and Holter monitoring. Skills and Experience Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer method Collection of blood and other samples from patients in residential homes and aged care facilities Experience in ECGs, ABP and Holter monitors Processing of Pathology Specimens Ability to work alone and as part of a busy team Clerical duties and process paperwork Current QLD driver licence Ability to communicate with the team, referring doctors and patients Ability to provide dedication to patient care and service delivery Ability to demonstrate organisation and problemsolving skills Ability to prioritise and work under pressure Comply with Work Health and Safety Current Working With Children (WWC) check and police clearance provided upon commencement of employment Only applicants with the right to work in Australia may apply.
