OverviewForklift Operator role at Hillebrand Gori - A company of DHL. Based in Outer Harbour, SA. As a Forklift Operator, in this full-time role based in Outer Harbour, SA, you will play a crucial part in the freight and cargo forwarding operations of the company, ensuring the seamless Operation and Administration at the warehouse.ResponsibilitiesMaintenance of Warehouse to ensure internal & surrounding areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.Operating a Forklift and adhering to forklift safety requirements.Ensure storage of goods & packaging materials are handled in accordance with Industry standards.CHEP Pallet or other owned or hired pallets, control and general stock control processes are adhered to.Ensure that customer service and quality targets are met or exceeded.Identify areas of cost savings, safety risk and process improvements within the warehouse operation.Check all loading plans / photos are completed along with receipt and dispatch paperwork is also issued.Ensure all received goods are correctly stored in their designated areas and pallets put away safely.Report any major discrepancies to Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.Assist with new developments and business.Assist team leader with month end process and weekly closing of financial files.Qualifications and SkillsWorking knowledge of all warehouse activities and safety rules within Outer Harbour Warehouse operations.Driver LicenceForklift LicenceWhite CardWhat we offerBe part of an international and diverse team of colleaguesFree access to online and on the job learning opportunitiesEligible for the annual incentive schemeJob DetailsSeniority level: Entry levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Management and ManufacturingIndustries: Transportation, Logistics and Storage #J-18808-Ljbffr
