We are looking for a Dispatch General Hand to join our growing team! About the role We currently have an opening for a full time Dispatch General Hand role which has been created to smooth out the dispatch process and alleviate pain points across our pick pack, dispatch and loading dock processes. We have a fleet of 35+ trucks leaving our production site around mid-morning every day to deliver just in time goods to our valued foodservice customers. Work hours 6.00am start Mon to Fri 38-hour full time permanent opportunity Responsibilities Provide full support in packing area to ensure punctual deliveries Escalate gaps in dispatch efficiencies and adhere to dispatch schedules Physical lifting work moving and sorting boxes onto pallets Ensure dispatched goods meet all requirements including quality, timeframes and labelling Organise and prepare pallets for drivers to load into trucks Assist with picking and packing when required Other Ad Hoc duties as required A full Position Description is available on request About you Safety focused Aptitude and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Physical ability to lift, stand for long periods, and work in cold environments Benefits include Employee Assistance program (counselling) Novated leases and employee discount program Discounted staff meat orders Strong safety culture Onsite physiotherapist What next?
