Sunshine Coast LocationStarting 1st December 2025Weekend Shifts Only 30 Hours per fortnight (6:00am -14:00pm) Cook Churches of Christ Little Mountain Aged Care, Sunshine Coast Casual Position About the Role Churches of Christ Queensland are currently seeking a casual Cook at our Little Mountain Aged Care Service. This role will see you preparing meals and undertaking basic cooking duties. About You Youre looking for a fresh challenge and enjoy using your cooking skills to create meals that nourish, comfort, and bring a sense of home to our elderly residents. Our Ideal Candidate Essential Strong understanding of safe food hygiene and kitchen safety practicesCurrent Police Check, or willingness to obtain one Valid Australian Work Rights - (Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor) Desirable One year''s experience as a commercial cook Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Outlook and Internet Explorer Undertake basic record keeping (eg number of meals per day, missed meals, fridge/freezer temps maintained) Confidence in communicating with supervisor and suppliers Importantly, you will be someone who closely aligns with our organisational values of: Integrity, Compassion, Excellence & Courage.
