About The Role We are offering a temporary six-month opportunity for a Corporate Risk Advisor, working within the Governance and Risk team to support the delivery of Councils enterprise risk, internal audit, service review, insurance, business continuity, and emergency planning functions. Role Reporting to the Senior Corporate Risk Advisor, this role provides support across a diverse range of governance and organisational resilience activities. In this role, you will: Contribute to the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Councils Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Provide administrative and technical support to the Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee (ARIC). Assist with internal audit activities, including project coordination, data analysis, reporting, and follow-up on agreed actions. Support Councils insurance portfolio, including claims management, data analysis, liaison with insurers, and incident investigation support. This is a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to governance, risk, and organisational resilience within a high-performing and collaborative team.
