Job Description

Site Manager role at Queensland Health Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Responsibilities Be responsible for managing the daytoday operations of the laundry to ensure HHS linen service demands are effectively managed, balancing operational efficiency and customerfocused outcomes within strict budget parameters. Provide advice which is critical in dealing with significant issues or matters, providing recommendations and input that contributes to the strategic direction of Linen Services and the broader system. Analyse, review and refine systems and processes in line with continuous improvement practices and considered assessment of alternatives to ensure ongoing alignment with changing business demands and/or policy or legislative requirements. Qualifications & Experience Exemplifies strong team leadership and motivational qualities to aide in meeting production targets and in support of organisational projects, strategies and initiatives. Able to lead strategically, thinking critically and acts on the broader purpose of the system. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the interpretation and application of contemporary financial management, human resources and business operations. Demonstrated high level consultative, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills including the ability to direct and influence others through the provision of advice and preparation of reports, briefs, recommendations and proposals. Demonstrated conceptual, analytical and problemsolving skills to identify and interpret issues and develop quality options and strategies to resolve business matters. Builds enduring relationships to enable collaborative delivery of customerfocused outcomes and sustain cooperative working relationships with key stakeholders and team members and able to effectively communicate and influence staff. While not mandatory, a relevant qualification(s) would be well regarded. Industry experience in a laundry or manufacturing environment is desirable. High computer literacy skills to support required communication and business writing and reporting skills.
