The Role As our Cook, youll play a vital role in the daily lives of our residents by preparing meals that are both nutritious and delicious. More than just food preparation, youll have the chance to engage with residents, understand their preferences, and deliver meals that make them feel cared for. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve appetising, nutritious meals tailored to residents needs. Engage with residents to learn their preferences and create meals that brighten their day. Contribute to menu planning in line with dietary guidelines for older adults. Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and aged care standards. Manage special diets and texturemodified meals with care and accuracy. Work collaboratively with our catering team to deliver highquality service. What youll bring Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery. Current NDIS Check or Willingness to Obtain Compassion, empathy, and a genuine love of cooking for others. Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Hospitality or Aged Care catering experience (highly regarded).
