This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving financial strategy, operational excellence, and governance across the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Financial LeadershipProvide strategic financial leadership aligned with the Groups business plan and long-term growth objectives.Demonstrate a handson approach, pitch in when needed, remain visible, engaged, and supportive to empower and develop the finance team.Financial Governance and ControlLead and maintain a robust internal control framework to ensure financial accuracy, integrity, and compliance across the Group.Oversee internal and external audit programs, ensuring timely resolution of findings and continuous control maturity.Financial Accounting & ReportingOversee monthend, quarterend, and yearend close processes to deliver timely, accurate financial results.Lead the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements, statutory reporting, and technical accounting positions.Tax & Treasury LeadershipLead the Groups taxation strategy, ensuring compliance with corporate tax, indirect taxes, and ATO requirements.Manage tax planning, advisory matters, and risk mitigation in partnership with internal and external specialists.Continuous Improvement & TransformationDrive continuous improvement of finance systems, processes, reporting, and data integrity.About YouQualifications & ExperienceCA or CPA qualified (or equivalent) with deep technical accounting expertise.Strong statutory reporting, consolidations, compliance, audit, and internal control experience.Demonstrated capability in tax and treasury oversight, including cash flow management, funding, and debt compliance.Leadership & CapabilityConfident and influential communicator with the ability to convey complex financial matters clearly to executives, boards, and crossfunctional stakeholders.High commercial and strategic acumen with the ability to balance compliance, risk, and business outcomes.Why This Role MattersThis is a unique opportunity to shape the financial control environment of a diverse and evolving organisation while influencing strategic direction at an enterprise level.
