About The Role This is a full-time permanent opportunity, located in Grafton NSW. The service operates during school terms from 8:15am to 3:45pm Monday to Friday, paid school holidays. We are seeking a candidate to commence in January 2026 in time for term 1. About The Opportunity At Uniting, we believe every child deserves the best start in life. Were looking for a passionate and experienced Service Director to lead our preschool service someone who can inspire educators, partner with families, and create a nurturing, play-based environment where children thrive. What Youll Be Doing Lead, mentor and support a dedicated team of educators Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework Foster inclusive, respectful relationships with children, families and the community Guide curriculum decisions that promote belonging, wellbeing and curiosity Champion continuous improvement through the Quality Improvement Plan Your Qualifications & Experience A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or Diploma with significant leadership experience) At least 3 years experience as a Teacher or Early Learning leader Sound knowledge of the National Quality Standard and early childhood best practice Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills A commitment to Unitings values Compassionate, Respectful, Bold and Imaginative Current NSW WWCC Check and ability to pass National Police Check Benefits And Culture Welcoming you exactly as you are Access to generous salary packaging options as well as access to Unitings URewards retail partner program.
