Senior Dragline Engineer South Walker Creek Mine Business Unit: Operations Sth Walker Creek. Job Function: Mining & Operations. Posting Start Date: 28/11/2025. We have a rare opportunity for a Senior Dragline Engineer to join the Mine Planning team at South Walker Creek Mine, located in the Bowen Basin. This role plays a critical part in supporting dragline operations and delivering efficient, safe, and costeffective outcomes. Come and be part of our strong and thriving team. Responsibilities Develop and maintain execution and concept level dragline plans. Optimise dragline operations to improve productivity and efficiency of mining sequences. Collaborate closely with production, technical and maintenance teams to ensure alignment and operational efficiency. Prepare and review dragline designs to support the mine plan. Monitor compliance with plans and designs, and implement corrective actions where required. Analyse performance data and support operational decisionmaking. Work at one of the best sites in the Basin. Qualifications Relevant experience in opencut coal mining operations, with exposure to dragline planning and operations. Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement. Bachelor of Engineering degree (Mining or Civil) or equivalent. Understanding of key productivity and cost drivers in dragline operations. Proficiency with mine planning software such as 3DDig, Deswik, Vulcan, and SPRY. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
