The council is committed to inclusive and highquality child care services through Kids Early Learning, which operates 31 centres and over 29 family daycare educators. About Kids Early Learning Kids Early Learning runs a fleet of 31 childcare centres, employing approximately 300 staff to serve more than 1,700 families across the Blacktown local government area. All services meet or exceed the National Quality Framework. Position Overview We are seeking a Child Care Director to manage the Marayong service on a permanent, fulltime basis. The Director will lead daytoday operations, deliver a highquality program of care and education, and supervise centre educators and workers to maintain effective service delivery. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the child care centre. Develop and implement a highquality care and education program for children. Oversee supervision and professional development of centre educators and workers. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and council policies. Collaborate with council staff and community stakeholders to promote inclusive and culturally appropriate services. Essential Qualifications and Experience Recognised University Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (3 or 4year qualification). Completion of Child Protection Course Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk of Harm. Meet all requirements for an Authorised/Nominated Supervisor as listed in the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations 2018. First Aid Certificate. Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training meeting ECS National Regulations 2018. Minimum of 2 years experience as an Authorised/Nominated Supervisor in a child care setting. Working With Children Check Number and clearance of National Police Check. Desirable Current classC drivers licence. Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations. Remuneration and Benefits Entry level salary of $1,861.14 per week. 35hour working week. Rostered Day Off (RDO) every fortnight. Salary and terms in accordance with Blacktown City Councils Enterprise Agreement. Child Protection and Safety This position is childrelated work.
