This is a Senior Policy Officer role with Victorian Department of Health based in Melbourne, VIC, AU Victorian Department of Health Role Seniority - senior More about the Senior Policy Officer role at Victorian Department of Health About The Role Working within a team supporting the Manager Aged Care Assessment (ACA) and Transition Care Program (TCP) the role will design, implement, and monitor a suite of policies and programs that will support early intervention and hospital avoidance for older Victorians, and contribute to multiple programs, including ACA and the TCP in relation to health and the aged care reform interface. The role is a great opportunity to demonstrate and build on the full set of public sector policy and program design and delivery skills, including collaborating and influencing across agencies, driving and reporting on performance, evaluation and managing financial and reputation risk. The role will include engagement with departmental, health service and Commonwealth stakeholders, and include consideration of health and aged care system priorities and issues. About You Experienced in public sector policy and data analysis Demonstrated expereince in program management including monitoring, reporting, writing, data analysis and systems thinking Resilient andl flexible, you will also have the ability to work flexibly to respond to a range of emerging issues and evolving priorities.
