This role in particular will focus on the ongoing $5 Redesign project to honour the culture and history of First Nations Peoples.Start your career in Note Issue and you will:Provide advice based on research and analysis and contribute to the preparation of papers, briefing notes and reports for Senior Leadership.Apply writing skills, sound judgement and critical thinking skills to support analysis and drafting of project documents.Work closely with the legal and procurement teams within the Bank to aid in the preparation of legal agreements and contracts for projects.Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to execute the objectives of Note Issue.Undertake analysis to help inform the ongoing development of banknote strategy and policies.Complete your 2-year Graduate Program within the Banknote Strategy and Engagement team in Note Issue.Influence projects and policy that relates to the provision of secure and reliable banknotes, which affects the lives of all Australians.Join the RBA Graduate Program and will participate in the 2026/27 core graduate training alongside peers from the other graduate programs at the RBA.Assessment CriteriaWe''re looking for dynamic, motivated graduates with high academic achievement who are interested in helping ensure the provision of secure and reliable banknotes.You should be a strong written and verbal communicator, a collaborative team player and strategic thinker, and driven to support good policy outcomes for Australia.You hold or are completing a degree with strong achievement in economics, law, or another commerce or STEM field.You have completed your degree or Masters no earlier than December2023Completion of a significant research project (e.g. honours or capstone) is desirable.
