The Cellar Door Manager will be responsible for representing and promoting our wine portfolio and the estate by creating exceptional customer experiences for every guest with the desire to create and maintain ongoing guest relationships. Heres what you can expect in the role: Demonstrate and share your passion and knowledge of wine to create memorable guest experiences Manage, coach and constantly develop the cellar door team to be motivated to deliver a performance to the highest level every time Actively drive sales of Bendooleys wines Promote and sell Wine Club membership Ensure our Wine Club members are receiving accurate and regular updates regarding our wines, dinners and promotions in conjunction with the marketing coordinator Access and develop Bendooleys guest database with cellar door visitors Manage and record all stock movements ensuring accuracy and efficiencies at all times Liaise and communicate with the entire Bendooley management team offering support whenever needed Manage opening and closing duties of the cellar door and everything associated with that Now lets talk about you: Strong team management experience, including the identifying and hiring of talent Minimum 2 years of team management experience required A strong wine knowledge and passion for the wine industry Hospitality management experience from any hospitality venue is acceptable Office administrative skills along with excellent planning and organisational skills A general knowledge of the wine industry A very strong guest focus Excellent communication skills and a drive for results Availability to work weekends and public holidays An understanding of backofhouse systems for stock management and bookings A committed team player Bendooley is an organisation full of opportunities and growth.
