Location: Dubbo, Western NSW with some travel around surrounding townsFull-time or part-time (to July 2026, with possible extension)Base hourly rate: $51.78 - $54.95 + super + salary packaging + leave entitlements.About the roleAs a Family Preservation Case Worker, youll be walking alongside families for up to 12 months, working directly in their homes at least once a week. Youll assess risk, build trust, and codevelop meaningful case plans to help families stay together safely. Many of the families youll support are navigating challenges such as child protection involvement, domestic and family violence, mental health, and neglect.Using the Wraparound service model, youll coordinate support in partnership with other services and connect families with parenting programs and practical tools to strengthen relationships and resilience.About you in the roleConducting regular inhome visits and delivering intensive, therapeutic case managementCompleting thorough safety and risk assessments, and writing clear, professional reportsCreating case plans that consider parenting capacity, child development and family contextCollaborating with colleagues and external agencies through joint home visits, community events and group supervisionMaintaining highquality records that inform service delivery and support accountabilityAbout YouYoure someone who is confident walking into complex situations and has the emotional intelligence to connect with the whole family children, parents, carers and help them feel seen and supported.
