Overview Join Tassal Group as a Permanent Full-Time Harvest Operator on our prawn farm between Airlie Beach and Bowen. Responsible for efficient and safe harvesting, essential farm maintenance, and civil works. Responsibilities Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, excavators, skid steers, trucks, graders, tractors) to harvest prawns. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures. Complete general farm and civil works (roadworks, groundskeeping, seaweed harvesting, waste pile removal, truck driving). Collaborate effectively to achieve daily operational goals. Use an iPad to manage job instructions and tasks. Requirements Valid operating licence for backhoe or excavator (essential). Strong commitment to workplace safety. Valid Class C driver licence; HR licence highly desirable. Experience operating heavy machinery in various conditions. Tractor towing long trailers in tight, confined areas. Basic iPad technology skills. Physical ability to work in all weather conditions. Availability to work some weekends and travel to Mission Beach during peak season. Legal right to work in Australia.
