Cleaner In Charge Permanent FullTime Department of Education, Western Australia Marri Grove Primary School (PS). Term 1, 2026. Role Overview Lead and supervise cleaning staff, manage rosters, provide training, and maintain exceptional standards across the school. Key Responsibilities Organise and supervise cleaning staff. Manage rosters and split shift schedules (5:008:00am and 2:305:30pm). Provide onthejob training to new and existing team members. Collaborate with facilities team to ensure all spaces are fresh, safe and inviting. Apply safe cleaning procedures and effective cleaning methods. Qualifications & Experience Proven ability to induct, coordinate and supervise cleaning staff. Experience with safe storage of cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals. Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets, equipment operating instructions and safety guidelines. Strong organisational, honest, reliable and punctual. Fast learner and proactive. Eligibility & Checks Valid Working With Children Check. Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and current Screening Clearance Number.
