Our Client Our client is a leading Australian energy company playing a key role in the nation''s transition to cleaner energy. The Role This newly created role offers the opportunity to apply your litigation and dispute resolution expertise in a broader commercial context. Key responsibilities include Supporting a major arbitration and litigation matter, including evidence management, disclosure and trial preparation; Working closely with external lawyers and counsel on high-value disputes; Providing commercial analysis and strategic advice across multiple business initiatives; Assisting in the development and implementation of strategies that protect and enhance asset value; Partnering with internal stakeholders across Legal, Finance and Operations, as well as joint venture partners; and Contributing to business development and M&A-related projects over time. About You 5+ years'' experience in litigation, dispute resolution or commercial advisory; Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability; Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; A collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused approach; and Experience in the energy or resources sector (advantageous but not essential). This role will suit a lawyer at Associate or Senior Associate level who enjoys complex commercial disputes but is ready to broaden into a strategic commercial role within the energy sector.
