Litigation - Commercial Attorney in Brisbane, Queensland Job Title: Commercial Disputes Lawyer (2-4 PAE) Job Responsibilities This role offers an exciting opportunity for a high-performing disputes lawyer to integrate into a dynamic litigation practice. The successful candidate will work closely with a partner and a team of lawyers and paralegals on a critical and complex matter for the Commonwealth Government. Acting for companies in regulatory investigations, including those conducted by the ACCC. Representing government agencies in judicial review proceedings. Handling regulatory dispute matters for corporate entities. Advising state and federal governments on a range of advice matters. Engaging directly with clients and working both autonomously and as part of a large team. Coordinating and managing workflows under pressure and delegating appropriately to a team of lawyers and paralegals. Education and Experience Information The ideal candidate will be an engaged and driven commercial disputes lawyer with the following qualifications and experiences: Operating at Associate level with experience as a commercial litigator in a well-regarded litigation practice. Proven ability to engage with a broad range of individual, corporate, and government clients and cultivate successful, trusted client relationships. Superior analytical, research, and drafting skills. Experience in investigations and/or government disputes work is advantageous, but commercial disputes experience is of greater importance. The ability to hold or be in the position to hold a Baseline Security Clearance. Excellent communication and drafting skills. A genuine desire to continually improve and deliver outstanding results for clients. Ability to supervise, develop, motivate, and contribute to the overall morale and success of the team.
