Lead / Senior Process Engineer Operational Readiness Wood is seeking a Lead Process Engineer Operational Readiness to be involved in a unique and technically challenging gold project in its Brisbane Minerals & Metals team. This position is based in Brisbane, Queensland on a 6month contract with possibility for extension. Wood is at the forefront of engineering solutions for a net zero future. With presence across the globe we are active in leading the way from frontend conceptual studies through to EPCM delivery in Copper, RareEarths, Nickel, Gold, Lithium etc. Based on a current project opportunity within our Mining & Minerals business, we are seeking an experienced Lead Process Engineer with strong gold project experience to join our Process team. Our Vision: Deliver Solutions that transform the world Our Values: Care, Courage, Commitment Responsibilities Lead the Process engineering effort with Operational Readiness requirements Deliver best practice Operational Readiness plans in accordance with project, time, budget and technical requirements Contribute to the development of systems, standard operating procedures, checklists and startup plans Assist with development of organisational structures, resource plans, schedules and training requirements Work with other engineering disciplines to implement Operational Readiness requirements Actively participate in design reviews, HAZOPs and other safety reviews and initiatives Qualifications Relevant experience in minerals processing plant design including comminution, gravity, leaching, dewatering, reagents and utilities. Experience with gold processing operations is essential Previous experience in an Operational Readiness role would be highly regarded Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills Strong analytical, literacy and numeracy skills Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team Welldeveloped computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets and engineering programs It takes a diverse and inclusive community of inquisitive minds to unlock tomorrows solutions to the worlds most critical challenges.
