In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and delivering strategic data assets and analytical products that drive insights, decision-making, and measurable outcomes for the agency.You will work at the intersection of business and technology, translating complex data requirements into actionable solutions and ensuring alignment with the agencys Data & Analytics roadmap.Youll engage stakeholders across the business, technology, and analytics domains to ensure scope, timelines, and deliverables are met. Your focus will be on enabling data-driven decision making through clear requirements, data process documentation, and alignment to technical solutions.Key responsibilities include:Develop and maintain a requirements traceability framework linking project deliverables to data outcomes.Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements for data and analytics initiatives.Map and document data flows, data lineage, and business processes to provide context for requirements.Facilitate workshops, meetings, and working groups to validate requirements with business and technical stakeholders.Review data and analytics solution designs to ensure alignment with business expectations.Support implementation of data models, analytics platforms, and reporting solutions.Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a Technical Business Analyst within data and analytics projects (not just system migrations).Strong background in data validation, testing, and quality assurance across analytics solutions.Demonstrated ability to analyse, document, and translate data flows, models, and business processes into technical requirements.Hands-on experience with SQL, data mapping, and data lineage analysis.Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and experience across Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery frameworks.Experience working in data analytics or data warehouse teams, delivering dashboards, reports, or analytical products.Exposure to SAS Viya 4 platform.Additional requirements:Australian citizenship is required.Ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance.Locations: NSW.How to apply:To apply, please click the ''Apply'' button to submit the most recent copy of your resume and cover letter.
