The Cadet position reflects a collaborative relationship between Indigenous candidates and Mercy Health.The role of the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Allied Health Cadet is to provide support to the relevant Allied Health discipline team in the provision of providing quality patient care. The Cadet is required to work under the direction and supervision of an Health Professional at all times, within their level of education and under clearly defined role parameters.* To provide patientcentered, family oriented, evidence based care within an interprofessional team environment to achieve the best possible outcomes for their patients* To provide care and support as delegated relating to patients activities of daily living, ensuring that patients personal needs and comforts are maintained* To assist in providing a safe patient environment and additional supervision ensuring patient safety* Provide general support for the health care team, ensuring effective and efficient care delivery**What youll bring**Youre resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart.
