If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a strong understanding of employment legislation, and are driven by delivering people-focused solutions, wed love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Build and maintain collaborative relationships within the businessProvide IR/HR advice and support to staff and to managers within the CompanyDevelop, implement and review HR policies, procedures and systemsUndertake HR management including performance management, grievances, training and development and employment separationConduct workforce planning and labour cost analysesAbility to coach senior leaders and project teams in relation to best practice human resourcesPrepare HR/IR reports and statistics as required and in accordance with project and client requirementsProvide advice into tendering activities as requiredMaintain employment records for all employees ensuring legislative requirements are achievedProfessionally represent our organisation with clients and subcontractorsAssist with exit interviews as requiredAssist in the development and implementation of HR policy, procedures and systems and ensure effective application of those throughout the companyProvide advice to employees on the effective management of employee relations including; Agreement terms and conditions, Performance management, EEO, Counselling / Discipline and TerminationCoordinate Union Right of Entry visits including escorting, debrief meetings, client reporting and issue resolutionProactive IR Risk Management, mitigation of IR incidents and manage industrial disputesInterpretation of employment contracts, enterprise agreements and legislationUnder take special projects, investigation and research on human resource / industrial relations related matters as requestedPerform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directedRequirements:2-3 years previous experience in a HR/IR Advisor roleDegree qualified in Human Resources ManagementProficient in Microsoft Office programs with a particular focus on ExcelExcellent communication skills, interpersonal skills & high level of confidentialityStrong understanding of HR policies & legislation, preferably within the construction industryGreat work location with onsite parkingPaid day off for your BirthdayCareer progression paths, learning and professional development opportunitiesRemuneration, Reward and Recognition ProgramsSupport for you and your family through our Employee Assistant Program (EAP)The chance to join a growing company with a values driven culture where you can really make an impactA bit about usPARC Engineering are specialists in Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Infrastructure projects.
