Its time to trade the hustle and bustle of city life for the wideopen spaces near Newcastle! Pace Farm is on the hunt for a handson Assistant Farm Manager who isnt afraid to get their boots dirty and roll up their sleeves. Youll help lead a dedicated team while ensuring the health and wellbeing of our feathered friends. This role isnt just about managing its about getting stuck in. From caring for the birds to maintaining our sheds, youll be on the ground making things happen while leading a small team to success. What Youll Do Be handson in checking the health and wellbeing of the birds, ensuring they have plenty of feed and water. Lead the cleaning and maintenance of sheds, and ensure all vaccinations are up to date. Work with your team to tackle the daytoday tasks and keep everything running smoothly. Take care of manure management and get handson with equipment like pressure washers. Keep an eye on the packing facility as needed and ensure everything stays safe and sound. About You Were looking for someone who thrives on handson action and can lead a team with energy and passion. Whether youve been an Assistant Farm Manager before or are taking your next step up, we value a practical, lets get this done attitude. Previous experience in poultry is great but not essential what matters most is your leadership skills, problemsolving ability, and mechanical knowhow. What Youll Need Experience in poultry or animal welfare is desirable. A forklift license, or a willingness to get one. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate your team. General maintenance skills are a plus. Excellent timemanagement and organisational abilities. Great communication skills to keep everything running smoothly. Why Pace Farm?
