The Anglican Church Southern Queensland seeks an Executive Officer for the Parishes & Other Mission Agencies Commission (PMC). Anglican parishes and other missions proclaim, worship, serve and learn to bring about Gods kingdom. The role will support the General Manager ACSQ and PMC Chair through the delivery of PMC strategic goals and objectives during a period of organisational redesign. Responsibilities To be successful in the role, you will: Contribute to the development of a strategy for the flourishing of ACSQ faith communities, with a particular focus on worshipping communities, including parishes and associated mission agencies. Coordinate and/or directly manage strategic engagement, projects, communications and change management, including stewardship of documentation. Champion, deliver and empower through strategic thinking, strategic project delivery and management of change within a collaborative Christian community context. Work in accordance with the values and ethos of the Anglican Church and the Code of Conduct, supporting the missional operations of the Church. You will bring Working knowledge of the Anglican Church and particularly Anglican parishes across metropolitan, regional and remote areas and operating in a complex environment. Working knowledge of the ecclesial and strategic drivers for theological and ministry education. Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering programmes of strategic change in complex environments, coupled with delivering strategic priorities through program delivery and management. Excellent communicator, including experience in managing multi-level stakeholder engagement. Well-developed report writing skills and documentation systems development and management. Highly Desirable Relevant tertiary qualifications. Theological/ministry qualification aligned to the mission and vision of the Anglican Church.
