About the Opportunity As Case Manager, you will provide supported independent transitional accommodation and holistic wraparound case management to ensure adults and families do not enter homelessness or crisis accommodation. Youll identify, assess, and develop strategies to support clients in transitioning into independent living, while building life skills and pathways to longterm housing - including public housing. Using a culturally safe, traumainformed, and strengthbased approach, youll deliver accommodation support, referrals, advocacy, and group work that meets client needs, strengthens the regional service system, and raises awareness of homelessness issues. Qualifications and Experience Qualifications in Human Services or Social Sciences plus 23 years experience. Knowledge of housing, homelessness, and child protection systems. Experience in assessment, assertive outreach strategies and ability to effectively manage complex issues relating to homelessness and assisting families to sustain long term tenancies. Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills. Prior experience or, at a minimum, demonstrated commitment to working respectfully with Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse clients, communities, staff, and Aboriginal Controlled Organisations.
