You will play an integral part in monitoring, training and improving the health, safety and environmental aspects within the Companys operations. A key focus of this role will also be to drive and support Jagcors positive safety culture in addition to ensuring compliance and accreditation is maintained. The Person we are seeking will be a dynamic self-starter, with strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to motivate and drive a positive safety culture within the Company as well as contribute to the team in a positive and proactive manner. You must also demonstrate a proven work ethic, be a team player and must also pass a Pre Employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol test and complete a national police check. Key qualifications include Minimum 3 years experience in a HSE Advisor role in the Construction Industry Cert IV in WHS as a minimum Cert IV in Training and Assessment is desirable Strong communication skills with the ability to develop a rapport and influence Experience with Incident Investigations using ICAM and 5 why An understanding and a working knowledge of WHS Practices, standards and codes Provide WHS guidance and advice to site staff Report to the HSE Manager and Project Managers in all safety related items and reports Competent with Microsoft Office and other software packages Excellent problem-solving skills and high level of attention to detail Construction White Card Current valid C class drivers license Key responsibilities include Participating in the control of identified hazards where appropriate Provide assistance and guidance in the investigation of incidents Participate in safety inspection processes Actively participate in mentoring and coaching of personnel to establish a sustained safety culture Assist operational personnel with the development of Safe Working Procedures (SWP) Prepare and monitor Job Hazard Analysis and SWMS documentation for projects Support Project Managers & Site Supervisors in conducting Toolbox meetings Regularly review and assess our HSEMP and provide recommendations where applicable Monitor internal and site-specific Safety Policies and Controls Report safety statistics Carry out site daily, weekly KPI''s and safety audits The Benefits We seek to provide a workplace that empowers and encourages innovation.
