OverviewWestern Australian Cricket Association East Perth WAA new caf is opening its doors in early 2026 as part of the exciting transformation of the iconic WACA Ground into a vibrant, multi-sport and community precinct and were looking for a passionate Caf Service Lead to help shape the customer experience from day one.How Youll Make an ImpactIn this fulltime role, youll be the goto person on the caf floor, supporting the Caf Manager and leading the frontofhouse team to deliver exceptional service.Support the Caf Manager in the overall running of the caf, ensuring smooth daily operationsMaintain a strong customer service presence on the caf floor, upholding service and quality standardsSupervise, motivate, and mentor caf team members to ensure high performance and team moraleAssist with rostering, shift management, and staff trainingOversee stock control and assist with ordering and supplier liaisonEnsure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS standardsHandle customer complaints and service issues with professionalism and careContribute to achieving sales targets and controlling labour and operational costsLead the delivery of internal and external events, coordinating staff and ensuring seamless executionAct in the Manager role in the absence of the Caf Manager, taking responsibility for the full operationProvide leadership to casual staffA great fit for this role looks likePrevious experience in a caf or hospitality leadership roleStrong people skills with a passion for service excellenceAbility to multitask and work efficiently under pressureSound knowledge of food safety and compliance standardsExperience with POS systemsAvailability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidaysHeres what you can look forward toOur people benefits include Membership passes to all cricket games at the WACA Ground and at Optus Stadium, onsite gym access, Birthday Leave, salary packaging, employee recognition program, discounts on cricket merchandise, corporate health insurance discount, corporate partner discounts, flexible work arrangements, professional development opportunities and more!Want to join our team?Ready to lead with energy and heart?
