Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements and cashflow statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Analyse financial data, manage ledgers and provide insights to support decisionmaking. Process accounts payable and receivable, cheque management, bank transactions and payroll deductions. Support debt recovery and liaise with major creditors to maintain integrated service provision. Maintain general ledger, asset accounting and statutory reporting in line with the Financial Management Act2006 and Treasurers Instructions. Develop and maintain financial and accounting policies, guidelines and procedures. Coordinate monthly reporting, annual financial statements and balancesheet reconciliations. Experience / Qualifications Level3 Accounts Officer: Organisation and processing of accounts payable, cheque management and bank transactions; reconciliation of payroll deductions and support of accounts receivable. Level4 Senior Finance Officer: Timely delivery of financial accounting and reporting, asset accounting, general ledger maintenance and statutory reporting. Level5 Financial Accountant: Controls within systems, oversight of internal and external financial reporting obligations and tax obligations. Level6 Senior Financial Accountant: Coordination of monthly reporting, annual statements, balancesheet reconciliation and policy development.
