Western Australian Cricket Association East Perth WA WA Cricket is seeking an energetic and passionate individual to facilitate and support the delivery of programs and promotions to help increase the number of cricket participants throughout South Metropolitan Perth. Key Responsibilities Development and delivery of club capacity building initiatives to Cricket Blast Coordinators with a focus of maximising participant enjoyment and experience to achieve high levels retention. Building and leveraging relationships with local schools and school ambassadors. Working with the Cricket Manager, develop a network of support for volunteers and Cricket Blast Coordinators. Coordinate, market and deliver Woolworths Community Fund, Growing Cricket for Girls and all other WA Cricket delivered programs within the Metro South region; Support specialist staff in the delivery of multicultural, social and inclusion cricket programs within the region; Ensure high quality of delivery of all cricket programs, both WA Cricket delivered and club-based, within the region to maximise participant enjoyment and experience. Provide strategic support to the delivery of primary School Cricket Cups and other school cricket competitions as required. Manage the administration and staffing of Sporting Schools bookings. Working with Cricket Managers to deliver targeted promotional activities in schools that optimise the transition of kids from schools to club-based WWCB Programs and Junior cricket. Developing recruitment and retention strategies for implementation of junior cricket pathway with a strong emphasis on 5-12 year olds. Support the delivery of On-Ground Experiences at International and BBL/WBBL matches. Train, manage and co-ordinate a team of casual Community Cricket Officers. Who we are looking for Experience and understanding of community level sport; Excellent customer and relationship building skills; Passion and ability to promote and deliver entry level programs; Working with Children Card or ability to attain one; Understanding of cricket; Experience in program promotion; Casual staff management.
