Our midwives on average earn $500 a week after tax a takehome pay of $943 a week salary (based on 47% tax), which means an average of an extra $23.58 an hour. Salary & Incentives If on ABN RN8+ $106.50 an hour (inclusive of GST & super) + penalties, + oncall rates, incharge rates are $106.50 per shift, plus overtime (1.52 your shift rate) available whilst oncall. If PAYG RN8 $90 an hour + penalties + super, + oncall rates, incharge rates are $90 per shift, plus overtime (1.52 your shift rate) available whilst oncall. Up to $100 a week for expenses taxfree for those with onsite accommodation. Up to $616 a week, for those who dont have or dont want onsite accommodation can put towards accommodation and expenses. Can use the expense money for car hire. Get an extra 16.6% average / $23.58 an hour on takehome pay with our amazing tax savings. If you do 13 weeks (3months) accepted there is a $2000 bonus on successful completion with Gove or Katherine. If you do 26 weeks (6months) accepted there is a massive $5000 bonus on successful completion with Gove or Katherine and $2000 with Darwin. Huge oncall rates 10% of shift rate, 26 higher than average. Overtime is only when oncall, its 1.52 the shift rate.
