The college is committed to fostering a diverse yet inclusive community that encourages all members to reach their full potential through learning, commitment and dedication.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and passionate Carpenter professional to join our team as a Trainer & Assessor for the CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry on a parttime basis. This position guarantees a minimum of 20 hours per week (equivalent to 2 full working days), with required availability for Saturday and Sunday. Fulltime work opportunity available for the right candidate. The role is ideal for a qualified tradesperson who is enthusiastic, motivated, and eager to share their knowledge and skills with the next generation of apprentices. You will deliver both theory and handson training in our trade workshop, helping students build strong practical and industryready skills.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging and effective training sessions for CPC30220 Certificate III in CarpentryPlan and conduct practical simulationbased activities, ensuring compliance with WHS requirements and safe practicesDevelop and implement training plans and assessment tools in line with qualification requirements and industry standardsAssess learners skills through practical and theorybased assessments (formative and summative)Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to students in a positive and inclusive learning environmentStay current with Carpentry industry trends and integrate them into your teachingMaintain accurate and uptodate student records in the Learning Management SystemAbout YouHold a Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220 or equivalent)Hold or be willing to obtain a TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (we will cover the cost for the right candidate)Have at least 5 years of recent Carpentry industry experienceAre wellpresented, selfmotivated, and enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal skillsHave strong presentation skills, a professional work ethic, and the ability to engage students in both theory and practiceCan manage your time effectively, meet deadlines, and work accurately under pressureKnowledge of AQTF, ASQA Requirements Able to provide Trainer & Assessor Matrix, VET & Industry Currency EvidenceA handson attitude to delivering the best solutions for trainingSound computer literacy and previous experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft ExcelHigh level of written and oral communication skillsEligibility to work in AustraliaBenefitsCompetitive salary packageOpportunities for professional development and career progressionSupportive and inclusive work environmentFlexible work arrangements #J-18808-Ljbffr
