The Opportunity Lindsay Transport is currently seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our Innisfail team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an industryleading firstclass transportation company and play a key part in assisting hundreds of Australian businesses every day to meet their logistics and transportation needs. Reliability is the cornerstone in transport, and to ensure reliability we make sure our fleet is maintained to the highest level. Your Main Responsibilities Will Include Repair, replace, maintain and diagnose a high volume of all company vehicles including prime movers, rigids and trailers. Complete repairs and work in a safe and efficient manner. Servicing vehicles in line with our company service schedule. Assist with major repairs such as rebuilds, midlifes, brake / bearing overhauls. Accurate completion of all documentation associated with fleet maintenance and repairs. Attend to breakdowns when required on a weekly roster. What Youll Bring Mechanical trade qualification. Proven competence in repairs and overhauls. Experience working on prime movers or heavy vehicle trailers is highly valued. Effective diagnostic skills on Kenworth, DAF, Cummins, BPW. Own basic tools (specialist tools are provided) (tool allowance paid). Basic computer skills. Clear and concise communication skills. Motivated, reliable and a good work ethic.
