Tolpuddle Vineyard Casual Tasting Room Attendant 2428 hours per week Day shifts FridayMonday Coal River Valley Be part of a small, tightknit team welcoming guests to one of Australias most celebrated singlevineyard stories. Our modern, bookingled Tasting Room operates 11:005:00, Friday to Monday, with additional sessions considered by appointment. Designed by Martin Shaw with Tasmanian architects Tanner Architects, our contemporary space is purposebuilt for guided flights and small seated experiences. The Role Youll be a handson host from open to closehelping guests feel at home and ensuring service runs seamlessly. Typical daytoday includes: Opening the Tasting Room; daily setup, section checks, and readiness for first bookings. Meeting, greeting, seating; pacing the room and managing bookings/walkins. Hosting guided wine flights and tableside conversations tailored to guest interest and knowledge. Tasting Room sales, payments/POS, and packing takeaway wines. Light food preparation, plating, and food running aligned to current menu and food safety standards. Stock checks, restocking, glassware care, and cleanliness throughout service. Endofday reset and packdown; notes on conversion, club signups, and guest feedback. Schedule & Status: Casual, Grade 3, 2428 hours/week across FridayMonday day shifts (115). Rotating roster; extra hours may arise for special bookings or events. About You Wine knowledge: WSET Level 2 (or similar) preferred; curiosity and willingness to learn essential. Communication: Clear, friendly, and confident with an ability to read the room and pace service. Service standards: Polished personal presentation; consistent, guestfirst mindset. Teamwork: Positive, enthusiastic, and reliablecomfortable in a small team environment. Compliance: Current RSA (Tasmania) or willingness to obtain before start; basic foodhandling awareness.
