Date: 2 Dec 2025Office Location: Darwin, Northern Territory, AU, 0800Company: NEC Corporation About The Role The Application Tools Team is responsible for maintaining and configuring the tools used for software deployment and operating system deployment using Microsoft Configuration Manager and Adaptive. They assist the Application packagers with more complex packaging requirements. Key Responsibilities Assess and integrate new hardware into Microsoft Configuration Manager for OSD, ensuring all drivers and required driver apps are installed. Assist Application packagers. Troubleshoot advanced packaging issues. Help mentor junior packagers. Maintain management tools/servers (Microsoft Configuration Manager, Adaptiva). Keep tool/servers versions up to date. Resolve any build issues. Identify, test, and implement improvements to the build process. Assist with software deployment and install issues. Help identify improvements to the application packaging process, keeping WIs up to date. Collaborate with Applications Senior, Architects, and Security teams to test and implement SOE configuration changes. What Were Looking For 2+ years of experience in application packaging. Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy. Proficient with Microsoft Configuration Manager and Adaptiva on Windows Server systems. Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills. Familiarity with ITIL processes and standards. Good knowledge of PowerShell and SQL. Some knowledge or experience with Intune and Office365.
