About Cathedral College Wangaratta Cathedral College Wangaratta (CCW) is the only independent Prep to Year 12 school in the region and is proudly Anglican. Since opening in 2003, the College has grown to over 1,070 students, earning a strong reputation as the school of choice for families across northeast Victoria. The Opportunity Following an outstanding sixyear tenure of the current Principal Mr Nick Jones, AngliSchools is seeking an exceptional, experienced, enthusiastic and caring educator to lead the College into its next phase of strategic growth and development. The Principal will be responsible to AngliSchools and the College Council for the leadership, conduct, management, success and reputation of Cathedral College Wangaratta, and will demonstrate unwavering commitment to the Colleges vision, mission, purpose and values. Primary Responsibilities: Mission maintain and promote the Colleges culture, grounded in its Anglican Identity, by upholding AngliSchools values. Strategic Thinker systematically drive the Colleges longterm financial sustainability and growth. Mentor continuously develop and challenge all staff to focus on leading education practices and genuine engagement with the College community. Other Relevant Responsibilities: Nurture meaningful relationships with students, staff, families and the broader community. Ensure strong leadership and governance, financial management, and compliance with all statutory requirements. Represent the College as an ambassador of Anglican education and a visible leader within the region. Identify and implement strategic opportunities to enhance all aspects of the College. Promote inclusive, positive and supportive relationships across the College community. Work collaboratively with the College Council to manage risk, including Work Health and Safety (WHS). Maintain open and regular communication with families, alumni, AngliSchools and other stakeholders. Protect and enhance the Colleges reputation. Actively participate in professional bodies that promote the interests of the College. Lead the retention and growth of student enrolments. Oversee the daytoday management of the College, ensuring sound financial stewardship in line with approved budgets and TenYear Business Plans.
