The Project Manager ensures the delivery of projects that align with organisational strategy, managing cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver outcomes on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality. This role also provides mentorship to business analysts and project coordinators, drives continuous improvement in project delivery practices, and contributes to project-level governance and strategy. Additionally, the Project Manager is responsible for managing interdependencies and risks within projects, ensuring that the projects deliver benefits that align with the organisation''s strategic objectives. Project Leadership and Delivery Lead the delivery of a variety of projects with significant organisational visibility and business value. Define and manage success metrics, project goals, and critical milestones in collaboration with sponsors and key stakeholders. Oversee resource planning and allocation for project delivery, ensuring optimal use of internal and external resources. Evaluate trade-offs between scope, time, cost, and quality to maximise project outcomes. Monitor and mitigate project risks proactively, driving resolution of critical issues. Manage, assess, and implement project change management. Manage project budgets to support financial reporting within AAL. Identify opportunities for improvements in project deliveries that align with AALs strategic goals and priorities. Deliver projects in alignment with AALs Project Management Framework, maintaining rigorous standards of governance and reporting. Prepare and present executive-level project updates, ensuring transparency and alignment with organisational priorities. Support the integration of project insights into strategic planning and decision-making processes. Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders, vendors, and partners. Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, ensuring alignment of project goals with business objectives. Facilitate collaboration across teams to ensure the successful delivery of cross-functional initiatives. Continuous Improvement Champion the adoption of best practices in project delivery, governance, and stakeholder engagement. Identify opportunities to improve delivery methodologies and frameworks, incorporating lessons learned from prior projects. Always! Qualifications Essential PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile PM certification. Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent professional experience. Desirable Advanced certifications such as PgMP (Program Management Professional) or SAFe Agile certifications. Training or certification in leadership development or change management.
