Reporting to the Town Maintenance Coordinator - Onslow, this role is responsible for the mentoring and supervision of Town Maintenance Officers in daily activities related to the maintenance and upgrade of parks, gardens, public spaces, and roads while ensuring safe operation and minor maintenance of plant and equipment, and a safe workplace at all times. Our ideal candidate will be highly motivated with proven supervisory skills and the ability to relate well to staff and the general public. They will also have experience working outdoors in Pilbara conditions, previous experience in lawn and/or garden maintenance and be able to demonstrate a high level of honesty and integrity. MR or HR licence and plant operator certificates will be highly regarded, as would horticultural experience. Some travel to other Shire towns maybe required from time to time. This position requires an immediate start once pre-employment checks have been completed. This position offers a competitive remuneration package and six weeks annual leave.
