Who You Are Youre a skilled HVAC Journeyman with extensive handson experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. With a solid understanding of HVAC principles, codes, and safety standards, you excel at diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions to ensure optimal system performance. Your technical proficiency and attention to detail enable you to work efficiently, delivering highquality results in a variety of environments. This is a contingent position based upon contract award. What Youll Do In the role of HVAC Technician, Journeyman, your duties will include: Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems. Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs. Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act. Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards. Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates. Other duties as required. Requirements Must be a US or Australian citizen. Must have a US TS/SCI Clearance w/ Poly, or an Australian PV clearance. Must have a minimum of five years of HVAC technician experience. Must have a Journeyman HVAC License, or Australian equivalent. Strong problemsolving and communication skills. Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure highquality service delivery and compliance with safety standards. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements. DecisionMaking Ability: Strong decisionmaking skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure. Desired Qualifications Refrigeration Recovery. This role will be located in Alice Springs, at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.
