If you''re a highly motivated, collaborative individual with a background in opto-electronics and materials, ready to make a significant impact on the intersection of quantum and biotechnology, then we want you to join our team today.To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following key selection criteria for this role:PhD in chemistry, bio-chemistry, material physics, in particularly, opto-electronics and nanotechnology.Ability to undertake original research, as evidenced by timely and high-quality outputs.Willingness to contribute to seek research funding from external sources.Extensive knowledge and skills in organic and inorganic synthesis of hybrid nanoparticles, optical characterization of single nanoparticle spectroscopy.At least two years of postdoc experience with strong track records competitive for the ARC DECRA (or industry) fellowships.Previous experience in research in an area relevance to fluorescence microscopy, characterization, and single nanoparticle spectroscopy.What We OfferBase Salary Range: $94,152 - $114,672 (Level A), plus 17% superannuation (pension).The position is full-time and will be made 24-month fixed term basis.UTS staff also benefit from a wide range of Employee Benefits include flexible work practices, child care centres, generous parental leave and salary packaging opportunities.How To ApplyPlease click the Apply link to be taken to the UTS website.
