Established in 1967, Vasse Felix is Margaret Rivers founding wine estate, encompassing four specialty vineyards. We have an opportunity for a Vineyard Manager to join our dynamic and supportive Viticultural Team. The viticulture program is sensitive to the unique needs of Margaret Rivers pristine environment and ancient soils. Farmed holistically, weve developed a specialised system for nourishing soil health, vine longevity and natural biodiversity. It draws upon over 50 years work, balancing ancient farming methods with modern viticulture. The characterful wines are reputed for their small batch, minimal intervention winemaking, reflecting our unique sites and thoughtful viticulture. The Vasse Felix Winery and Vineyards are certified members of Sustainable Winegrowing Australia. We are seeking an experienced Vineyard Manager to join our supportive and innovative viticulture team. The successful applicant will have a tertiary qualification in viticulture or equivalent proven industry experience and will have a high level understanding of the relationship between grape and wine quality. Reporting to the Chief Viticulturist, key responsibilities include: Lead a dedicated team of people to achieve production requirements of both yield and quality Determine operating and capital budgets and manage costs to achieve production KPIs Maintain all assets to a high standard Maintain sustainable vineyard practices without compromising fruit quality, commercial sustainability and safety You must hold Australian citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency to be considered for this role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
